UB40 concerts in Vilnius and Panevėžys delayed
2012 02 12 Due to health problems of one of the performers, the British reggae band UB40 concerts on 18th February in Vilnius Siemens Arena and 19th February in Panevėžys Cido Arena are delayed. Specific dates of the upcoming concerts to be announced later.“Yesterday evening we received information from the band's representatives about one of the performers, Duncan Campbell in particular, having broken his ribs, therefore the band had to delay three closest intended concerts. Two of them were intended in Lithuania, the third one – in Moscow. UB40 are extremely sorry that they cannot make it to Lithuania on the planned dates, and are looking for opportunities to perform the concerts in our country as soon as possible. We are currently arranging new concert times. We will inform you as soon as we confirm them”, - announced Juras Vėželis, the president of the company SEVEN Live, organizer of the concerts.
According to J. Vėželis, it is aspired to make the UB40 concerts in Vilnius and Panevėžys happen before summer, i.e. in May, or June at the latest.
The same tickets to the concerts intended to happen in February will be valid in the upcoming UB40 concerts.
UB40 guys are extremely sorry about the inconvenience caused and promise to start the summer season with a blast, and this way repay the Lithuanian fans having waited for the concert for so long.
Those who want to return the tickets can do it from Monday, 13th February, to 4th March. If tickets were bought online, they have to be returned online, if tickets were bought at the box offices, the same box office they were bought at has to be contacted. More information about ticket returns will soon be available at www.tiketa.lt and all Tiketa box offices.
