Latin American star Juanes getting ready to release his autobiography

Coming to Lithuania for the first time this autumn, the Colombian performer Juanes has announced his getting ready to release his autobiography. According to La Camisa Negra, the book should appear in the beginning of next year.

“This book will be one more way and one more tool to get closer to the fans. Express my gratitude and reveal myself. I want to show who I am, what I do, what I have. I want the people who love me to get to know the close ones around me: my family, friends, members of the band”, - says Juanes, having just returned to music and social activity after a break.

Back in the beginning of July, the performer arranged a photo shoot of several hours, which will be used for the cover of the upcoming book.

“I wanted something very simple, but something that would reveal my entire personality and what is hidden inside me. I wanted all of my features to be exposed. I am very happy I succeeded in achieving what I was aiming for”, - the Latin American star rejoices over the cover of the upcoming book.

According to Juanes, the book will be telling about his life, concerts, the backstage, the performer's childhood and, as he put it, even the times of hard metal. The interesting is that the major part of the book will not consist of the text, but the photographs having depicted the key life moments and an intriguing, emotional story of Juanes' life.

Before Juanes' book sees the daylight, everyone can see and party at the performer's acoustis (MTV Unplugged) concert on 7th November in Vilnius Siemens Arena. The performer's concert will be supported by Jurgis Didžiulis, who has become an ambassador of this concert, and who will perform a previously unheard, Latin American-inspired and Colombian spirit-breathing concert program.
